• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH HONORING DUANE WINTERS FOR 15
YEARS' SERVICE ON THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA
CITIES BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, DUANE WINTERS is completing 15 years of a
distinguished career with the League of California Cities; and
WHEREAS, DUANE WINTERS has worked energetically to
strengthen and promote effective local government through his
services both as a member of the Board of Directors of the League
of California Cities and as its past president and vice
president; and
WHEREAS, DUANE WINTERS has given generously of his time
to support worthy community efforts, and has provided effective
leadership to good local government;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach hereby RESOLVES, DETERMINES AND DECLARES THAT DUANE WINTERS
be awarded the highest commendation from its citizens for his
dedicated years of service to the people of the State of
California, County of Orange and, in particular, the City of
Newport Beach.
