A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH CONFIRMING THE LEVYING OF ASSESSMENTS FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR OF JANUARY 1, 2001 TO DECEMBER 31, 2001 FOR THE
NEWPORT BEACH RESTAURANT BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, on November 14, 2000 the Newport Beach Restaurant
Business Improvement District annual report was filed and approved by the City Council;

WHEREAS, on November 14, 2000 the City Council adopted and
published a Resolution of Intention declaring the intention to levy assessments for the
Newport Beach Restaurant Business Improvement District for the fiscal year January 1,
2001 to December 31, 2001; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing regarding the renewal of the Newport Beach
Restaurant Business Improvement District was held on December 12, 2000 without
protest.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
hereby confirms the levy of assessments as described in the Resolution of Intention dated
November 14, 2000 for the Newport Beach Restaurant Business Improvement District for
the fiscal year January 1, 2001 to December 31, 2001.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption. Passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting held on
the 12`h day of December 2000.

resolution, being Resolution No. 2000 -108 was duly and regularly introduced before and adopted by
the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 12th
day of December, 2000, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
