• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF
VEHICLES ON A CERTAIN PORTION OF WEST COAST
HIGHWAY (1100 WEST COAST HIGHWAY)
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
provides that when authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof, no person shall
stop, stand, or park any vehicle between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of any day
for a period of time longer than one (1) hour upon such streets or portions thereof as the
City Council shall designate by resolution; and
provided;
WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of vehicles as hereinafter
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
• Newport Beach that the parking of vehicles between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00
p.m., except on Sundays and holidays, be limited to one (1) hour in front of 1100 West
Coast Highway.
BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer is hereby
authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mark said area to indicate such parking
limitation.
ADOPTED this 25th day of April, 2000.
