A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH INITIATING AN AMENDMENT
TO TITLE 20 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL
CODE PERTAINING TO PROVISIONS FOR
MANUFACTURED DWELLING UNITS OUTSIDE OF
MOBILE HOME PARKS
WHEREAS, Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code authorizes the
City Council to adopt a resolution initiating amendments to the Zoning Code of the
City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Council intends to initiate an amendment to revise Title
20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code to establish provisions for manufactured
dwelling units outside of mobile home parks to ensure their compatibility with
surrounding conventional dwelling units.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach to initiate an amendment to Title 20 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code to establish provisions for manufactured dwelling units outside of
mobile home parks.
This resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach held on September 25, 2001, by the following vote, to wit:

Ridgeway, Glover, Bromberg, Proctor, Mayor Adams

resolution, being Resolution No. 2001.82 was duly and regularly introduced before and adopted by
the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the
