A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH CONFIRMING THE. LEVYING OF ASSESSMENTS FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR OF APRIL 1, 2003 TO MARCH 31, 2004 FOR THE
BALBOA VILLAGE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, on March 11, 2003 the BALBOA VILLAGE Business
Improvement District annual report was filed and approved by the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, on March 11, 2003 the City Council adopted a
Resolution of Intention declaring the intention to levy assessments for the
BALBOA VILLAGE Business Improvement District for the fiscal year April 1,
2003 to March 31, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the Resolution of Intention was published in the Daily
Pilot on March 12, 2003; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing regarding the renewal of the BALBOA
VILLAGE Business Improvement District was held on March 25, 2003 without a
protest of majority.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
hereby confirms the levy of assessments as described in the Resolution of
Intention dated March 11, 2003 for the BALBOA VILLAGE Business
Improvement District for the fiscal year April 1, 2003 to March 31, 2004.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a
regular meeting held on the 25th day of March 2003.

resolution, being Resolution No. 2003 -19 was duly and regularly introduced before and adopted by
the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the
25th day of March, 2003, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
Ayes: Heffernan, Ridgeway, Adams, Webb, Nichols, Mayor Bromberg
Noes: None
Absent: Proctor
Abstain: None
