A RESOLUTION OF THE NEWPORT BEACH CITY COUNCIL
EXPANDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE
CITY CENTENNIAL 2006 COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, Resolution 2004 -11 stated that the Committee shall consist of three
Council Members appointed by the Mayor and those community member positions
recommended to Council and approved by Council to ensure that the centennial
planning and celebrations are created and supported by the community;
WHEREAS, the Chair of the Committee has asked that the committee be
expanded;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the committee will include the
Directors of the Recreation & Senior Services Department and the Library Services
Department; a member from the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Newport
Beach Conference & Visitors Bureau, the Nautical Museum, and seven citizens.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this 23`d day of March
2004.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council is seven; that the foregoing
resolution, being Resolution No. 2004 -24 was duly and regularly introduced before and adopted by
the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the
23rd day of March, 2004, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
Ayes: Heffernan, Rosansky, Adams, Bromberg, Webb, Nichols, Mayor Ridgeway

Absent: None
Abstain: None
