A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH CONFIRMING THE LEVYING OF ASSESSMENTS FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR OF APRIL 1, 2004 TO MARCH 31, 2005 FOR THE BALBOA VILLAGE
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, on March 9, 2004 the BALBOA VILLAGE Business
Improvement District annual report was filed and approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, on March 9, 2004 the City Council adopted and published a
Resolution of Intention declaring the intention to levy assessments for the BALBOA
VILLAGE Business Improvement District for the fiscal year April 1, 2004 to March 31,
2005; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing regarding the renewal of the BALBOA
VILLAGE Business Improvement District was held on March 23, 2004 without a protest
of majority.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
hereby confirms the levy of assessments as described in the Resolution of Intention
dated March 9, 2004 for the BALBOA VILLAGE Business Improvement District for the
fiscal year April 1, 2004 to March 31, 2005.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption. Passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting held on
the 23`d day of March 2004.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council is seven; that the foregoing
resolution, being Resolution No. 2004 -26 was duly and regularly introduced before and adopted by
the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the
23rd day of March, 2004, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
Ayes: Heffernan, Rosansky, Adams, Bromberg, Webb, Nichols, Mayor Ridgeway
Noes: None
Absent: None
Abstain: None
