A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH RESCINDING THE CITY COUNCIL ECONOMIC ADVISORY
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, by adopting Resolution 2003 -14, the City Council established the
City Council Economic Advisory Committee on the 11th day of March, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the Committee has only met
on two occasions since its establishment, and has not been useful to the Council
or staff;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, that:
Resolution No. 2003 -14, establishing the City Council Economic Advisory
Committee is hereby rescinded.
ADOPTED this 13th day of September 2005.

I, LaVonne M. Harkless, City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council is seven; that the foregoing
resolution, being Resolution No. 2005 -46 was duly and regularly introduced before and adopted by
the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the
13th day of September 2005, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote, to
wit:
Ayes: Selich, Rosansky, Webb; Ridgeway, Daigle, Nichols, Mayor Heffernan

Absent: None
Abstain: None
