A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH CONFIRMING THE LEVYING OF ASSESSMENTS FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR OF JULY 1, 2005 TO JUNE 30, 2006 FOR THE BALBOA
VILLAGE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, on June 14, 2005 the BALBOA VILLAGE Business
Improvement District annual report was filed and approved by the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, on June 14, 2005 the City Council adopted and
published a Resolution of Intention declaring the intention to levy assessments
for the BALBOA VILLAGE Business Improvement District for a fiscal year July 1,
2005 to June 30, 2006; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing regarding the renewal of the BALBOA
VILLAGE Business Improvement District was held on June 28, 2005 without a
protest of majority.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
hereby confirms the levy of assessments as described in the Resolution of
Intention dated June 14, 2005 for the BALBOA VILLAGE Business Improvement
District for the fiscal year July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a
regular meeting held on the 28th day of June 2005.

resolution, being Resolution No. 2005 -36 was duly and regularly introduced before and adopted by
the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the
28th day of June 2005, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
Ayes: Selich, Rosansky, Webb, Ridgeway, Daigle, Mayor Heffernan
Noes: None
Absent: Nichols
Abstain: None
