RESOLUTION NO. 85 -17
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES
ON TUSTIN AND OCEAN VIEW AVENUES TO TWO HOURS
ON WEEKDAYS BETWEEN 8:00 A.M. AND 5:00 P.M.
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides, among other things, than when authorized
signs are in place giving notice thereof, no person shall stop,
stand or park any vehicle between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00
p.m. of any day for a period of time longer than two hours, upon
such streets or portions thereof as the City Council shall
designate by Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 (c) of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code further provides that the City Council may vary
the hours and days during which the foregoing restrictions shall
be in effect; and
MEREAS, it is now necessary to limit the parking of
vehicles as follows:
I. Tustin Avenue - from Avon Street to a point 300 feet
northerly;
2. Ocean View Avenue - from Tustin Avenue to a point
350 feet northerly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the parking of vehicles between
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on week days, shall be
limited to two (2)
hours on
the
streets herein designated.
