A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH DESIGNATING AVON AT TUSTIN;
OCEAN VIEW AT TUSTIN; AND SOUTHBOUND TUSTIN AT
• AVON STREETS AS LOCATIONS WHERE VEHICLES ARE
REQUIRED TO STOP

WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides, among other things, that whenever any
ordinance or resolution of this City designates and describes any
street or portion thereof as a through street, or any
intersection at which vehicles are required to stop, at one or
more entrances thereto, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect and
maintain stop signs on each and every street intersecting such
through street or portion thereof so designated; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Affairs Committee has determined
that there is a need for intersection control as follows:
1. On Avon Street at Tustin Avenue;,
2. On Ocean View Avenue at Tustin Avenue;
3. On south -bound Tustin Avenue at Avon Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I'T RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the locations described herein be
and hereby are designated as locations where vehicles are
required to stop.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer
be and hereby is directed to erect and maintain all necessary
signs at the above locations.
