A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION No. 84-
147 BY EXTENDING THE TERM AND BY AMENDING THE
DUTIES AND MEMBERSHIP OF THE AVIATION COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
previously adopted a Resolution establishing the "Aviation
Committee" which set forth the duties and responsibilities
• of that Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Aviation-Committee was previously required
to sunset on December 31, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
now desires to extend the term of the Aviation Committee to
December 31, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
now desires to amend the duties and membership of the Aviation
Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the term of the Aviation Com-
mittee be and hereby is extended to December 31, 1986; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the duties and membership of
the Aviation Committee be and hereby are amended as indicated
on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part thereof; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution is subject to
all other terms anti conditions contained in the original Reso-
lution establishing this Committee, and said provisions shall
remain in full force and effect until December 31, 1986.
