RESOLUTION NO. 86 -30
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH REQUIRING VEHICLES TRAVELLING
ON CATAMARAN DRIVE TO STOP AT SANDCASTLE AND
SEACREST DRIVE, CORONA DEL MAR
WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides, among other things, that whenever any
ordinance or resolution of this City designates and describes any
street or portion thereof as a through street, or any
intersection at which vehicles are required to stop at one or
more entrances thereto, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect and
maintain stop signs on each and every street intersecting such
through street or portion thereof so designated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that there is a
need for intersection control at the following streets at
Catamaran Drive, in the City of Corona del Mar, that traffic on
the following streets should be required to stop at those
locations, and stop signs should be posted:
Catamaran Drive at Seacrest Drive
Catamaran Drive at Sandcastle Drive
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, that the following described location
is hereby designated as a location at which vehicles are required
to stop:
Catamaran Drive at Seacrest Drive
Catamaran Drive at Sandcastle Drive
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer be
and hereby is directed to erect and maintain all necessary signs
at the above location.
