A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING THE KOLL CENTER NEWPORT PLANNED COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS SO AS TO PERMIT A PRIVATE CLUB
• IN OFFICE SITE "A" IN THE PLANNED COMMUNITY,
AND THE ACCEPTANCE OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENT
(PLANNING COMMISSION AM3NDMENT NO. 635)
WHEREAS, Section 20.51.045 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code pro-
vides that final amendments to a Planned Community Development Plan must be
approved by a Resolution of the City Council, setting forth full particulars of
the amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on June
5, 1986, at which time it considered a certain amendment to the Planned
Community Development Standards for the Koll Center Newport Planned Community
so as to permit a private club in Office Site "A," not to exceed 30,000 sq.ft.
in area, subject to the securing of a use permit; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the Planning Commission adopted a
resolution recommending to the City Council that a certain amendment to the
Planned Community Development Plan for the Koll Center Newport Planned
Community Development, as set forth in the Planning Commission Minutes of the
June 5, 1986 meeting, be adopted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that said amendment to
the Planned Community Development Standards for the Koll Center Newport Planned
Community, as set forth in the Planning Commission Minutes of the June 5, 1986
meeting, is desirable and necessary; and
•WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has conducted a public hearing on
the proposed amendment in accordance with all provisions of the law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach hereby approves the proposed amendment to the Planned Community
Development Standards for the Newport Place Planned Community Development, as
• reflected in the Planning Commission Minutes of the June 5, 1986 meeting.

ADOPTED this 14th day of :July, 1986.
