A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF
UNINHABITED TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH, COUNTY OF ORANGE, KNOWN AND
DESIGNATED AS UPPER NEWPORT BAY ANNEXATION
NO. 91.
• WHEREAS, on April 2, 1986, the Local Agency Formation
Commission of Orange County ( "LAFCO ") with the consent of the
landowners, approved the annexation of the uninhabited territory
known as the "Upper Newport Bay Annexation No. 91" to the City
of Newport Beach and authorized said City to annex said
territory to be included within its municipal boundaries; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the LAFCO
resolution and proposal to annex Upper Newport Bay Annexation
No. 91 to the City of Newport Beach and considered the consent
of the landowners to such annexation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the! annexation to the City of
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, of that
certain uninhabited territory be and hereby is approved to be
annexed to and made a part of the City of Newport Beach, County
of Orange, State of California, said territory is known and
designated as the Upper Newport Bay Annexation No. 91 and is
more particularly described in that legal description attached
hereto and marked Exhibit "A," and further depicted on that
certain map attached hereto and marked Exhibit "B," both
documents which are incorporated herein by reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the boundary of the City of
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California be and the
same is hereby altered to include the above - described territory
in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proceedings for
annexation herein approved are had and taken under and pursuant
to the provisions of an Act of the Legislature of the State of
California, designated and referred to as "The Municipal
Organization Act of 1977." (Section 35,000 et. seq. of the
Government Code).

TERRITORY OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, BEING
A PORTION OF BLOCK 51 OF IRVINE'S SUBDIVISION AS SHOWN ON
A MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 1„ PAGE 88 OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS IN
THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT AN ANGLE POINT IN THE EXISTING BOUNDARY LINE
OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, SAID ANGLE POINT BEING THE MOST
EASTERLY SOUTHEAST CORNER OF "BAYVIEW ANNEXATION" TO SAID
CITY, SAID ANGLE POINT ALSO BEING ON THE NORTHWESTERLY BOUNDARY
OF "ACACIA STREET ANNEXATION" TO SAID CITY; THENCE ALONG SAID
EXISTING BOUNDARY LINE PER "ACACIA STREET ANNEXATION ",
S 40' 38' 15' W 281.63 FEET TO THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE CONTINUING ALONG SAID EXISTING BOUNDARY LINE PER "ACACIA
STREET ANNEXATION " - AND "UPPER. BAY ANNEXATION" THE FOLLOWING
