HomeMy WebLinkAbout87-11 - Stop Signs at Various Streets in the CityWHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach Muni-
cipal Code provides, among other things, that whenever any
ordinance or resolution of this City designates and describes any
street or portion thereof as a through street, or any
intersection at which vehicles are required to stop at one or
more entrances thereto, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect and
maintain stop signs on each and every street intersecting such
through street or portion thereof so designated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that there is a
need for intersection control due to construction or
modifications in conjunction with new development in Corona del
Mar. Vehicles shall stop at specified approaches at:
1. Poppy and Fifth Avenues;
2. Bayview Street and Bayview Place;
3. La Vida at La Salud;
4. La Felicidad at La Salud;
5. La Felicidad at Camelback Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, that the following described location
is hereby designated as a location at which vehicles are required
to stop:
• 1. Poppy and Fifth Avenues (4 way stop);
2. Bayview Way and Bayview Place (4 way stop);
3. La Vida at La Salud;
