A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING BUSINESS LICENSE
FEES FOR THE COIN MACHINES
WHEREAS, Ordinance Number 87 -17 was adopted by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach on June 22, 1987; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance Number 87 -17 stated that the coin
machine fees shall be established by Resolution of the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to hereby establish the
coin machine fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach as follows:
The following fees are established as the fees to be
charged for coin machines:
Bulk Vending Machines:
Charging 1 - 9 cents: $ 2.00 /Year
Charging 10 cents and over: $ 4.00 /Year
Music Machines such as Juke Boxes: $18.00 /Year
All other coin operated machines:
Charging 1 to 4 cents: $ 3.00 /Year
Charging 5 to 9 cents: $ 8.00 /Year
Charging 10 cents and over: $16.00 /Year
