RESOLUTION NO. 88- 108
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING
MARINE CHARTER PERMIT FILING FEES.
WHEREAS, Ordinance Number 88 -37 adding Newport Beach
Municipal Code Section 5.18.035 was adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach on October :24, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance Number 88 -37 stated that the Marine
Charter Permit Filing Fees shall be established by Resolution of
the City Council
and the fee
shall be
no greater
than necessary to
defer the costs
incurred
by the
City in
administering the
provisions of Ordinance 88 -37; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to establish the Marine
Charter Permit Filing Fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach as follows:
A. The fee set forth hereinafter is for filing fee for
applications submitted at least two (2) full working days before
the charter is to occur: Forty two dollars ($42.00).
B. The fee set forth hereinafter is for filing fee for
applications submitted with less than two (2) full working days
before the charter is to occur: Sixty three dollars ($63.00).
C. The fee set forth hereinafter is for filing fee for
additional charters within thirty (30) days of original filing
fee submitted less than two full working days before the charter
is to occur: Twenty one dollars ($21.00).
D. The filing fees set forth in A, B, and .0 above are no
greater than necessary to defer the costs incurred by the City in
administering the provisions of Ordinance 88 -37.
