RESOLUTION NO. 89 -1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DECLARING CITY'S
VACATION OF A SEWER EASEMENT AT 2600 EAST
COAST HIGHWAY, IN CORONA DEL MAR AND
SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, pursuant to
the provisions of the Street Vacation Act ('.section 8300 et seq. of the Streets &
Highways Code) is authorized to vacate public easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach has reviewed
and considered the various elements of the General Plan of the City of Newport
Beach prior to declaring its intent to vacate this sewer easement and has
determined that the proposed vacation is consistent with the General Plan.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held a public
hearing on the proposed vacation of the sewer easement depicted on Exhibit "A"
and described in Exhibit "B" at 7:30 P.M. on the January 9, 1989, in the
Chambers of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach located at 3300
Newport Boulevard, Newport Beach, California.; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach desires to
vacate the sewer easement depicted on the map depicted on Exhibit "A" and
legally described on Exhibit "B ", the vacation to be processed pursuant to the
provisions of the Street Vacation Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach that the sewer easement depicted on the map attached as Exhibit
"A ", and legally described on Exhibit "B" is hereby ordered vacated and
abandoned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to have
this Resolution recorded by the Orange County Recorder.
Adopted this 9th day of January ,1989.

That certain sewer easement, 3.00 feet wide, in the City of Newport Beach,
Orange County, California as described in the deed to the City of Newport Beach
recorded in Book 1528, Page 353 of Official Records, records of said County,
said easement being more particularly described as follows:
That portion of Lot 18, Block 732, Corona del Mar Tract, as shown on a map
thereof filed in Book 3, Pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
County, lying between the.southwesterly line of said lot and a line parallel
with and 3.00 feet northeasterly, measured at right angles, from said
southwesterly line.
