HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-74 - Irrevocable Offers to Dedicate Alley EasementNO. 93 -74 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING IRREVOCABLE OFFERS TO DEDICATE A FIVE -FOOT WIDE ALLEY EASEMENT. • Recitals On July 18, 1968, the Newport Beach City Council approved Variance No. 949 for the property located at 815 East Bay Avenue, Newport Beach, California; and As a condition of that approval, an Offer of Dedication of the southerly five feet of the subject parcel was recorded in the Orange County Records in Book 6812, Page 858; and On September 12, 1972, the Newport Beach City Council approved Modification No. 566 for the property located at 811 East Bay Avenue, Newport Beach, CA; and As a condition of that approval, an Offer of Dedication of the southerly five feet of the parcel was recorded in the Orange County Records in Book 10801, Page 837; and The Newport Beach City Council has determined that the offers of dedication should be accepted to provide for a continuous alley width from "A" Street westerly to the alley that intersects to the south from Balboa Boulevard. THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach accepts the dedication of the southerly five feet of the parcel, measured parallel to the southerly line of the parcel, known as 815 East Bay Avenue and described as Lot 7, Block 11, Balboa Tract, as per map recorded in Book 4, Page 11, of Miscellaneous Maps in the Orange County Recorders Office. The City Council of the City of Newport Beach, accepts the dedication of the southerly five feet, measured parallel to the southerly line of the parcel, known as 811 East Bay Avenue and described as Lot 5, Block 11, Balboa Tract, as per map recorded in Book 4, Page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps in the Orange County -1- • Recorders Office. The City Council authorized City Manager, Kevin Murphy, to execute appropriate documentation accepting the Offer of Dedication for recording purposes.
