RESOLUTION NO. 93-78
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR A P.O.S.T. TRAINING
VIDEO.
WHEREAS, Section 421 of the City Charter provides that the
City Council may, by Resolution, authorize the City Manager to bind
the City, with or without a written contract, for the acquisition
of equipment, materials, supplies, labor services and other items
included within the budget approved by the City Council, and may
impose a monetary limit upon such authority; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has executed a Contract #93- 011 -23
for receipt and use of $93,750.00 provided by the State of
California for a Peace Officer Standards Training (P.O.S.T.) video
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach that the City Manager's execution of Contract
# 93- 011 -23 with the State of California for the Peace Officers
Standards training video grant project is hereby authorized and
ratified.
