A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH REQUIRING VEHICLES TRAVELLING ON
• GALAXY DRIVE TO STOP AT HOLIDAY ROAD.
•
WHEREAS, Chapter 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
provides that whenever any resolution of this City designates and describes any street or
portion thereof as a through street, or any intersection at which vehicles are required to
stop at one or more entrances thereto, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect and maintain
STOP signs on each and every street intersecting such through street or portion thereof
so designated; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that there is a need for intersection
control on Galaxy Drive at Holiday Road in the City of Newport Beach; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach that the following described location is hereby designated as a location at
which vehicles are required to stop:
On Galaxy Drive at Holiday Road
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer shall erect and
maintain all necessary signs at the above location.
