They contend that
employees of the many businesses along Coast Highway near Hazel Drive often park
on Hazel Drive during the day because available on -site parking in most cases is
limited. The residents also expressed concern that employees from the new senior
housing facility will park on Hazel Drive when the facility opens.
The Traffic Affairs Committee recommends a two -hour parking limit on this block of
Hazel Drive to reduce all -day parking by employees and to help restore the quality of
life that these residents desire.
Re a ully su fitted,
Public Works Department
Don Webb, Director
Richard Edmonston, P.E.
Transportation and Development Engineer
Attachment: Resolution
Request Letter
F:\ Users \PBW\Shared \COUNCIL \FY98- 99\May -10 \Hazel Drive Parking.doc
N
0
POPPY AVENUE
= HAZEL DRIVE
LOPbSED 2 HOUR PARKING' LIMIT
