PURPOSE:
To establish the policy for fund raising or contracts
committees, established by the City Charter or the C

Fund Raising

commissions, or
No board, commission, or co 6e which has been established by the
City Charter or by the City ouncil, shall have the authority to
independently raise and collect rids on behalf of itself, any other board,
commission, committee, or th City. Any such funds shall be generated
by and collected through egally established nonprofit groups and
organizations which are ' ependent of the City. An exception to this
Policy may be granted b the City council on a per project basis when
circumstances justify th exception
Contracts
No board,
commi
sion or committee which has been established by the
City Charter or the City Council, shall have the authority to enter into
any contract 'th any agency, group, entity or individual without
authorizatio om the City Council.
