DISPOSAL OF DISCARDED LIBRARY MATERIALS
The Board of Library Trustees, upon the recommendation .of the City
Librarian, may periodically dispose of dilapidated and /or out -of -date
books and materials.
Such disposal of materials may be accomplished in any of three ways:
1. Discard them as refuse;
2. Donate them to nonprofit, charitable
institutions;
3. Donate physically sound, but out -of -date
materials to the Friends of the Newport
Beach Public Library for possible
inclusion in their annual book sale.
