WHEREAS, E. N. Whittemore of the Department of Public
Works of the State of California, as escrow agent, did at an
adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the city of
Newport Beach, present a written StateHighway Right of Way Contra
executed by F. M. Strobridge, and referring to Grant Deed No. 90,
Station 733f25.56 to Station 73700 SWIly side of Highway,
approximately Southwest ramp, in District 7, County of Orange,
Route 60,.Seotion A; and
WHEREAS, the grantor in said State Highway Right of Way
Contract agreed to furnish the City of Newport Beach a twelve foot
easement for sewer purposes lying along the property in said con-
tract described, adjacent to and Westerly of the existing 1001
right of way of the Southern Pacific R. R. Company; and
WHEREAS, paragraph 3 of said right of way contract
refers to matters in which the City of Newport Beach is interested
and the said E. N. Whittemore has requested the City Council of
said city that it approve said right of way contract aforesaid, if
the terms thereof meet with the approval of said City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council
of the city of Newport Beach does hereby approve said State High-
way Right of Way Oontraot in so far as the same shall in any way
by the terms thereof affect the City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Oounoil of
the city of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof,
held on the 19th day of April, 1935, by the following vote, towi•
