1 RESOLUTION NO. 697 <br />2 <br />3 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana., has by resolution <br />4 duly adopted and passed by its City Council, requested of and <br />5 <br />from the Secretary of the Interior on behalf of itself and other <br />6 <br />municipalities to whom Hoover Dam energy has been allocated, an <br />7 <br />additional period of four months to and including November 15th, <br />8 <br />19312 in which to enter into contracts; and <br />9 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of SantaAna <br />10 <br />has requested the City Council of the City of Newport Beach to <br />11 <br />concur in said request for said extension of time. <br />12 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City <br />13 <br />Council of the City of Newport Beach does hereby concur and <br />14 <br />approve of such request and respectfully joins with said City <br />15 <br />16 of Santa Ana in said request. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this <br />17 <br />18 Resolution be immediately mailed by the City Clerk of the City of <br />19 Newport Beach to the Secretary of the Interior at Washington, D.C. <br />20 certify <br />21 I hereby that the foregoing Resolution was duly and <br />22 regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach <br />23 at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of July, 1931, <br />by the following vote, to —wit: <br />24 <br />25 AYES, COUNCILMEN :�/� <br />A A n <br />26 <br />27,E <br />r, <br />28 <br />• 2.9: <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />ROLANO THOMPSON <br />ATTORNEY AT LAW <br />SANTA ANA.
