r S <br />• <br />RESOLUTION N0. 7040 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT <br />©oK�� T/i65�6 <br />ll -a8 -3r <br />�gis -D <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach <br />on the first day of June, 1931, passed its Resolution of Intention <br />No. 688 to order the hereinafter described improvement to be <br />made and public work to be done in the City of Newport Beach; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of Resolution <br />of Intention No. 688, the Street Superintendent of the City of <br />Newport Beach conspicuously posted along the line of the contem- <br />plated work and improvement at not more than three hundred (300) <br />feet in distance apart, and :_in all, notices of the <br />passage of said Resolution of Intention, headed NOTICE OF PUBLIC <br />WORK, in the manner, form and substance as required by law, aid <br />said Street Superintendent also caused a notice similar in <br />substances to be published by four (4) consecutive insertions in <br />NEWPORT NEWS, a weekly newspaper published and circulated and <br />of general circulation in the City of Newport Beac4, California, <br />and named by said City Council in said Resolution of Intention, <br />as the paper in which said notice should appear, all as appears <br />from the affidavit of Sam Meyers, owner, printer and publisher <br />of said weekly newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the <br />office of the Clerk of the City of Newport Beach on the <br />day of �� ��, 1931, and is now on file therein; and <br />WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Newport <br />Beach commenced the posting of the notices hereinbefore referred <br />nG <br />to on the day of —J,,,.7 -e , 1931, and fully completed <br />the posting thereof on the F- day of —6w n L , 1931, as appears <br />from the affidavit of John A.
