RESOLUTION NO. 86 -28 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH <br />AMENDING THE NORTH FORD PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT REGULATIONS <br />SO AS TO MAKE VARIOUS CHANGES TO THE PLANNED COMMUNITY <br />• DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR RESIDENTIAL AREA NO. 5 <br />(Planning Commission Amendment No. 631) <br />WHEREAS, Section 20.51.045 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code <br />provides that final amendments to a Planned Community Development Plan must be <br />approved by a Resolution of the City Council, setting forth full particulars of <br />the amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on March <br />20, 1986, at which time it considered a certain amendment to the Planned <br />Community District Regulations for the North Ford Planned Community so as to <br />delete provisions for shared driveways on substandard lots; increase the <br />minimum lot size from 2,400 sq.ft. to 3,000 sq.ft.; establish a minimum average <br />lot width of 55 feet; revise the garage setback requirements; establish permit- <br />ted locations for guest parking; and increase the maximum height for open <br />trellis and beam construction within the required side yard setbacks from eight <br />feet to nine feet; and <br />WHEREAS, at said public hearing the Planning' Commission adopted a <br />Resolution recommending to the City Council that a certain amendment to the <br />Planned Community District Regulations for the North Ford Planned Community <br />Development, as set forth in the Planning Commission minutes of the March 20, <br />1986 meeting, be adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that said amendment to <br />10 the Planned Community District Regulations for the North Ford Planned Commun- <br />ity, as set forth in the Planning Commission minutes of the March 20, 1986 <br />meeting, is desirable and necessary; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has conducted a public hearing on <br />the proposed amendment in accordance with all provisions of the law; <br />
