,PWEUAS, during this quarter century relationship, the cities have exchanged visits with citizens and
organizational delegations and students in resident programs; and
`GWEP,EAS, the bonds of friendship, good will, and understanding as exemplfed by the Sister City
movement have resulted from these community, and educational exchanges; and
IPWEUAS, the city of Newport Beach extends the warm hand of friendship to the delegation from
Anti6es as we celebrate this significant anniversary of our relationship; and
NOW,, TMERETOU I, Edward D. Sehch, Wayor of the City of Newport Beach, on behalf of the
City Council, Staff and Citizens of Newport Beach extend our wannest congratulations to the
