Chairman Rosansky called the meeting to order at 8:03
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. Minutes of November 16, 2005
Motion: Richard Luehrs moved to approve the minutes as written.
Lloyd Ikerd seconded the motion.
Vote: Approved unanimously
2. Progress Report (Attachment)
Roy Freeman asked a question regarding Balboa Peninsula pump station.
John Blom asked a question regarding uplighting on PCH at MacArthur.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
1. Appointment of Subcommittee to Review Economic Development Strategic Plan
Sharon Wood asked for appointment of members for this subcommittee. This subcommittee will plan to meet between
now and March. The following members were appointed:
John Blom
Michael Henn
Richard Luehrs
Craig Batley
Roy Freeman
2. Potential Business Participation in Centennial Celebration
Steve Rosansky opened discussion for Centennial events.

0 VIP Areas
0 Boat Race
0 Pier to Pier Run
Approximately $500,000 is needed at this point. Steve Rosansky and Mayor Don Webb asked for additional
participation from the business community. John Saunders commented on issues on the Rose Parade Float and
praised the Staff and organizers on "a job well done". 15th Street (Grace Dove) wants to get things done.
3. Report on City Hall Committees
Mayor Don Webb outlined the two (2) committees:
0 Finance
0 City Hall Site Selection
Each committee will be made up of 11 appointees and 2 City Council members. Their duties will need to be completed
by May 1, 2006
4. EDC Representative to EQAC — Call for Volunteer
Lloyd Iderd volunteered to be the EDC Representative to EQAC.

PUBLIC COMMENTS
Gay Wassell -Kelly commented that the Newport Beach Nautical Museum will have their first exhibit at the Fun Zone in a month or so.
