In Europe, Japan, Mexico the UK and the United States, She is a
Contemporary Nature Painter, exhibiting widely with work seen in
collections in prestigious garden and dry collections. A California
native, she lives In both France and Laguna Beach while doing art
resldencles in gardens around the world. Glanne's focus is on painting
In public gardens and exhibiting In public spaces, Glanne received
her BFA from UC Irvine in the 1970s during the definlng years of the
Minlmalist movement under masters such as Judy Chicago and Tony
DeLap, Gianne has embraced the concept of sustainabilHy and Is
committed to help frame the discussion of conservation through the
aesthetics of painting water wise gardens, She has completed

Her work focuses on contemporary approaches to nature. She is widely collected. Gianne is invited to paint in residence at famous public gardens around the world and has completed 14 residencies in the past nine years. Gianne de Genevraye's exhibition will run January 7 -March 4, 2019 and feature art produced in residence at Newport Beach's sister cities: Antibes, France Okazaki, Japan Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
