Description of Work:Old existing Bradford white 50 gallon water heater was no longer functioning properly. Removed and
recycled the existing water heater from the shared center balcony on the 2nd floor of the home.
Provided and installed a new Rheem 50 gallon water heater. Installation included: a new expansion
tank on the cold 3/4” copper supply pipe to the water heater, a 1/2” Galvanized sediment trap on the
gas supply, Galvanized eathquake straps, a new drain pan (connected to the existing drain line, and
reinstate the 3/4” copper pressure relief line. Also, insulated the hot and cold supply lines, ground the
hot, cold and gas supply pipes, Connect to existing vent system.
After completion, water heater was tested for leaks and proper function.

of errors in the plans and specifications or from preventing building operations being carried on thereunder
when in violation of the California Building Code or of any provision of the Newport Beach Municipal Code .

after issuance, or where the work commenced is suspended or abandoned for six months, shall expire, and
fees paid shall be forfeited.
