The Board of Trustees of the City of Fewport Beach,Calif.met at 7:30 p.m. at the place and on the date above mentioned,President H.k. Robinson presiding. ROLL 0-',.LL. On calling the roll the following Trustees responded "Present ": ' H.A. Robinson, J. J. Schnitker ,Geo.P.47ilson,J.C.i,IeCain,and J.P.Greeley. TICdTIOITS were read and referred to the proper order of busines ORDII.AI:CE Iq0.135 for the regulation of casting from the wharf was passed to second reading by motion of Trustee Geo.P.wilson,seconded by Trustee J.J.Schnitker and carried. ORDINANCE FO, 134 was passed to final reading. Moved by Trustee Greel seconded by Trustee I:IcCain that Ordinance I3o.134 be adopted. Moved by Trustee J.D. Greeley, seconded by Trustee UcCain and - carried that 0100. be appropriated from the music and promotion fund 50.for each end of town,for the Fourth of July celebration,and that the Clerk be instructed to draw a warrant for the amount payable to the President of the Chamber of Commerce. Letter of the Federal Plectric Co.reggarding sirens was turned over t the fire and water committee. Letter of H =E.Lyon was filed. Application of C.G. -alves for cancellation.of Apartment house license was denied by motion of Trustee J.P.Greeley,seconded by Trustee J.C.IJcCain and carried. Application of T.C.Horton of The Bible Institute of Los _ul3elos for free eater on lot in Balboa on which chapel is erected was granted motion of Trustee J.C.ItIcCain,seconded by Trustee Geo.P.Wilson and carried. :application of �.D..:atson of the Cro;m Stage Line for reduction oi' License from "2 _00.' -o AlOO.per year was tabled. Schnitker,seconded by Trustee Greeley and carried that the bond of William Ulrich as Police Officer be accepted. Request of (%':1.73urns for the Council to take action regarding the narrow turns in the alleys in the Blocks lying west of 23rd St. between Bay Ave.& Ocean Ave. was referred to the Street Committee. Plccin, of li-h.ts on south side of 1'alboa island awd o:, Central iTc. It was moved. by Trustee Geo.P.Wilson,seconded by Trustee J.P. Greeley and carried that the Street Committee with the Street Super- intendent and City Electrician have full power to act to place a row of electric li -hts on the south side of Balboa Island,and also to extend the lights easterly on Central Ave. by the addition of two lights.
