application of Cedric Roberts. to construct a concrete.slat

cordance with the revision dated November 4, 1960,. as
shown on a drawing dated October 5, 1960, prepared by
Jack S. Raub entitled "Proposed Reinforced, Concrete
:Bulkhead, Newport Bay, Newport Beach, California ;" (2)
approval of the County of Orange.
Councilman Kingsley stated that Mr., Roberts. legally
entitled to the permit and moved approval of said appli-
cation, which motion failed to carry.
Mayor Stoddard was. concerned. about the possilility of
beach erosion caused by the construction of the proposed
bulkhead and the damage it might do to adjacent properties
The matter was held over to November 28, pending re-
ports from the City Manager and Engineering Depart-
ment.
