Mayor Hart opened the continued public hearing regarding Pier Permit No. A -620 for the pier and.float located bay - Redmond Pier .yard of Lot 12, Subdivision of Block C, Newport Bay Permit Tract, 309 Edgewater Avenue, Balboa, to determine hearing whether any permit or rights, which Dr. Malcolm H. CA 130 Redmond, owner of said.property, or anyone else may have to maintain said pier and float, should be revoked • and said pier and float and appurtenant structures order- ed removed. The recommendations from the Joint Harbor Committee, set forth in their Minutes of April 2, 1963, were presented. A sketch of Dr. Redmond's proposed pier and float alteration was also presented. Dr. Red- mond spoke from the audience and stated that he had instructed Croft & Neville to make arrangements to have the pier comply with the requirements of the Joint Harbor Committee.
