Mayor Gruber called the meeting to order. The Clerk
read the purpose of the Special Meeting which was to accep
the resignation of City Manager Robert Coop and to decide
the method of recruitment of a new City Manager and to
appoint a Committee for Examination of Applicants for the
Position of City Manager and to Screen Applicants and
Make Recommendation to the Council. She stated that all
Councilmen had signed the Consent and Waiver to hold
said meeting.

A discussion was had regarding the method of recruitment

discussed as to the value of their assistance in determining
