Re: Update of Recommendation "b)" to City Council Agenda Item 8, Approval
of a Purchase Agreement with South Coast Fire Equipment, Inc. for the
Purchase of a Type 3 Wildland Fire Apparatus
After the April 14 City Council Agenda was published, it was brought to the attention of
the Fire Department that Recommendation b) should include staff's request to waive
City Council Policy F-14. The staff report recommendation shall be updated as
underlined below.
b) Waive City Council Policy F-14 and approval of a Purchase Agreement with
South Coast Fire Equipment, Inc. for a not to exceed amount of $509,902.44 for
the purchase of a Pierce Manufacturing Type 3 Wildland Interface Fire
Apparatus.
No other changes to the report are requested by staff.
