Thanks to the City for the MANY emergency efforts on COVID-19!
My heart goes out to the mom -n -pops, particularly the restaurants. Some will not stretch to the day to see
the relief money. LA Times wrote on restaurants: "Every day that help is stalled, it gets exponentially
worse."
I have a small suggestion, hope it's manageable with the City's limited resources now.
Let's enable the restaurants to reduce the cost of each takeout, adopt serve -on -request by adding a
section in NBMC chapter 6.05. The text could be:
6.05.022 - Single Use Reduction
Food vendors shall only provide utensils, chopsticks, straws, lid plugs, condiment packets, napkins
and cup sleeves to customers upon request, for takeout orders.
