Where to Use ■ Moisture barrierto help control moisture propagation in cemeMitious substrates with a moisture content not exceeding 6% by Tmmex Method and residual moisture up to 100% R.H. or 25 lbs11000 sq.R24 his. ■ For substrate consolidation on concrete, cement and gypsum screeds. ■ Adhesion promoter for old and new adhesive residues in conjunction with other Sika• products. ■ Sikes MB is suitable an concrete, cement, setf-leveling and gypsum substrates, OSB, plywood, quarry and terrazzo tiles, water-soluble adhesive and cutbacks. Advantages ■ Solvent -free (100% solids) ■ Easy roller applied application, low viscosity ■ Convenient, easy to mix packaging ■ Shorter construction periods ■ Excellent penetration and stabilization of the substrate ■ Reduction of adhesive consumption ■ Suitable for use on floors with radiant heating ■ Compatible with SikaBonde wood flooring adhesives, Sikae Level products. ■ Can be used befow floating floors Coverage ■ 250 - 300 sq.ft. per 2.64 US. gal. pal when used as a moisture barrier • 400-450 sq.fL per 2.64 US. gal. pail when used as an adhesion promoter or surface consolidator alone ■ MUST produce a monolithic, pinhole -free finish with a continuous film. The need for multiple coats is IM directly related to surface absorption. (Coverage figures do not include allowance for surface profile and porosity or material waste). Compressive Strength 10.000 psi (811 MPa) at 7 days _ ShoreDHardness 83at7days (meed ABB) 10, VOC e511 WL(A+B canbined) How to Use Surface Preparation ■ All substrates must be dry, stable, sound and free of all contaminants such as grease, ol, paint, wax, dust, wring and sealing compounds that will interfere with the penetration of Sikae MB. ■ All loose friable material, including preparation residue (i.e. Paint, laitance), must be completely removed using an industrial vacuum before application of the Sikes MB. The compressive strength of the substrate should be at least 1,160 psi at 28 days with a minimum tensile strength of 116 psi at the time Sikes MB is applied. Repair with Sikes Level SkimCast or SikaQuicks mortar before priming. ■ Substrate must have an open textured surface to allow Sika*MB to penetrate. Blast cleaning, grinding are considered acceptable means to achieve the desired surface profile but acid and chemical etching are not acceptable. k!_' PRIOR TO EACH USE OF AHY 31KA PRODUCT THE USER MUST ALWAYS READ AND FOLLOW THE WRRNING5 AND INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PRODUCTS MOST CURRENT PRODUCT DATA SHEET, PRODUCT LABEL AND SAFETY DATA SHEET WHICH ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE AT HTTP:IAJSA.SIKACOMI OR BY CALLING SIKA'S TECHNICAL SERVICE DE-
