PA2021-004 1 3   (LQIR#FRYLGFOLQLFRUJJanuary 11, 2021 We are requesting a permit to operate a drive-through COVID testing site in the City of Newport Beach 1. The request is for the surface parking lot located at: 1107 Jamboree Road, Newport Beach, CA 92660 2. It is proposed to use this lot as a drive through Covid testing site serving the local community. Patients purchase their test(s) and make their appointments on covidclinic.org. Upon arrival they are checked in and directed to the testing location where healthcare professionals administer the test. Patients depart after their test and are sent results digitally. 3. Patients remain in their vehicles for the duration of the testing. 4. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome if we have available appointments. 5. The site plan details the traffic pattern and testing locations within the site. 6. The site consists of (4) 40’ mobile office containers, (1) 20’ mobile office container, (1) 10’ mobile office container, (2) 45,000 watt generators, (1) 3-yard dumpster, (2) portable toilet for staff only, (1-3) 10’x10’ pop up canopies. 7. The testing site operates 7 days a week from 7:00AM-9:00PM. The operation will run until November 30, 2021 8. There are no waivers. 9. Nothing is sold on site. All sales are conducted via the covidclinic.org website prior to arrival. 10. There will be between 15-20 on-site staff, depending on the demand for testing. 11.
