HomeMy WebLinkAbout20210223_Withdrawal Request Real Estate Services Development 520 NEWPORT CENTER DRIVE, SUITE 600 NEWPORT BEACH, CA 92660 TEL: 949-271-1100 FAX: 949-271-1080 PAGE 1 OF 1 February 23rd, 2021 RE: Lido House LLC, Mayor’s Table ETUP (PA2020-343) Cancellation of Emergency Temporary Use Permit No. UP2020-186 Dear Mr. Lee; Pursuant to our email correspondence I am submitting this request to withdraw Lido House LLC’s Emergency Temporary Use Permit for the use of tent structures for outdoor dining as authorized by Emergency Ordinance No. 2020-05. Upon further review of the ever-changing global circumstances as they unfolded following our conditional approval on November 23rd, 2020; the Mayor’s table restaurant does not find an additional tent structure beneficial during the winter/early spring seasons of 2021. It is our plan to re-evaluate the need for a temporary tent structure and reapply later in the year for a non-emergency-oriented TUP to be used in the 2021 Holiday Season. This will allow additional time to address the requirements presented in the conditions of the ETUP. This request for cancellation applies to both the ETUP issued Nov. 23rd, 2020 as well as the revised application and exhibit’s submitted in early January 2021.
