Unit of the Master Plan, establishing building setback
lines along the alley south. of Seashore Drive, between
61st and Orange Avenue, Newport Beach,
Said hearing will be held at 7:30 P,M. on May 25,

Forwarded are the following:
1 . Copies of Resolution No. 632 of the Planning Commission
in which it recommends the adoption of Precise Plan
No. 3 to establish building setback lines along the
alley south of Seashore Drive between 61st Street and
Orange Avenue .
2. Copy of drawing No. 78-2723 on which the proposed precise
plan is shown.
3. A resolution which, if adopted by the City Council will
adopt Precise Plan No. 3 as shown on drawing No. 76-2723•
The matter should be brought to the attention of the City Council
and set for hearing at a subsequent Council meeting. After the
hearing, if the City Council approves Precise Plan No. 3, the
resolution adopting said plan may be adopted by the City Council.

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach have heretofore adopted a Master
Plan for land use, streets and highways and parks and recreation;
and
WHEREAS, it now appears that precise plans with respect
to planned rights-of-way are required for the systematic execution
of the Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, after notice and hearing in accordance with
law, the Planning Commission has reviewed Drawing No. 78-2723
dated January 20, 1959, on file in the office of the City Engineer,
and approved the establishment of alley building setback lines
along the alley south of Seashore Drive from 61st Street to Orange
Avenue as shown thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commis-

dated January 20, 1959, on file in the office of the City Engineer

WHEREAS, after notice and hearing in accordance with
law, the Planning Commission has reviewed Drawing No. 78-2723
dated January 20, 1959, on file in the office of the City Engineer,
and approved the establishment of alley building setback lines
along the alley south of Seashore Drive from 61st Street to Orange
Avenue as shown thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commis-
sion of the City of Newport Beach that Drawing No. 78-2723
dated January 20, 1959, on file in the office of the City Engineer
be recommended to the City Council for adoption as Precise Plan
No. 3 of the Street and Highway unit of the Master Plan to estab-
lish the alley building setback lines along the alley south of
Seashore Drive from 61st Street to Orange Avenue .
Regularly passed and adopted by the Planning Commission
of the City of Newport Beach, State of California, on the 19th
day of March, 1959.
