Subject: Master Capital Improvement Plan
Forwarded is a resolution which, if adopted by the City Council,
will adopt a new element of the Master Plan entitled "Master
Capital Improvement Plan", as recommended by Planning Commission
Resolution No. 667 adopted September 17, 1964.
This resolution should be submitted to the Council for adoption
if, after the hearing on the matter on October 26, 1964, it is
decided to adopt said Master Capital Improvement Plan. You will
note that the map constituting the Plan should be attached to
the resolution.

SUBJECT: Planning Commission Resolution No. 667 which proposes to
adopt a new element of the Master Plan entitled "Master
Capital Improvement Plan'.
Transmitted herewith is Resolution No. 667 which was adopted by the
Planning Commission on September 17'. 1964.
Copies of these documents should be forwarded to the City Council and at
the meeting on September 28, 1964 the City Council should set the matter
for public hearing and, if in order, should adopt by resolution on the
public hearing date, the map showing the Master Capital Improvement Plan.

RESOLUTION NO. 667
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A NEW ELEMENT OF THE
MASTER PLAN ENTITLED "MASTER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PLAN"
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and the City Council
have heretofore adopted a Master Plan of the City of Newport Beach;
and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Planning Com-
mission a `Master Capital Improvement Plan" consisting of a map
on which are shown the locations of existing and proposed schools ,
community center buildings , parks, playgrounds, fire stations , and
libraries; and
WHEREAS, after notice the Planning Commission has held
two public hearings in accordance with the requirements of the State
Planning Act and has reviewed said"Master Capital Improvement Plan"
as shun on the attached map;
NOW, THEREFORE9 BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
of the City of Newport Beach does adopt said "Master Capital Improve-
ment Plan" as an element of the Master Plan of the City of Newport
Beach.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman and Secretary of
the Planning Commission are hereby directed to certify and transmit
said "Master Capital Improvement Plan" to the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach for consideration.
Regularly passed and adopted by the Planning Commission
of the City of Newport Beach, State of California, on the 17th day
of September, 1964.
