the General Plan Amendment, rezoning, and construction of a multi-family complex at 4302
Ford Rd. As a 20+ year resident of Newport Beach, I ask you to deny the multi family building
at Bison and Ford Road. Many years ago the City adopted a slow growth campaign and what we
have seen in the years since is aggressive growth instead. The proposed multi-family
development would once again fly in the face of slow growth. In addition, the fact that the
developer is a former city official with ties to the planning committee is even more
concerning. Is there a special deal here? Our City is going the wrong direction with over
building, too much traffic, too many bars, not enough family venues, and just a general demise of
what Newport Beach once was. Please stop this project and let’s restore our great City to
