Subject: Ford Road Apt / Condo Development
Mr. Zbeda:
As a resident of Newport beach and the Port Street for the past 20 years, I adamantly
opposed to the condo / apartment complex on 4302 Ford Rd! This road and parking
provided on the streets is quite crowded as you can see WITHOUT the addition traffic
this proposed building would add. This area is used by people participating in soccer
games, tennis and pickle ball matches, basketball games and families using the tot lot
and picnic tables.
It is ridiculous to think that the addition of this proposed building is a good idea! To
cram a build of that size in a tiny corner is negligent and irresponsible not to mention
dangerous and an eyesore. Please also note that the bike trail, which is adjacent to the
proposed driveway is used as an access by many bicycles of those students commuting
twice daily to CDMHS, and also people out for exercise on foot and by bicycle. Please
give an ounce of consideration to those using the park , bike path and surrounding
areas. This is an ill thought out idea.
