Dear Mr. Zbeda,
I just read the letter that Susan Nelson wrote you regarding the development that is being considered
for Ford Road.
I also was present at the City Council Meeting that was attended by the many residents from the area
that will be affected by the proposed development.
I do not live near Ford Road but attend and speak on other issues at Council meetings and can’t tell you
enough how impressed I was by the earnest pleas of the residents of that neighborhood that would be
affected by a development near the childrens’ athletic area . Rarely have I heard at Council or Planning
Commission Meetings such articulate and impassioned speakers.
Ms. Nelson has presented excellent arguments for not proceeding with a development at this site. And
certainly the hazard waste that is indicated on the sign at the site of the proposed development needs
more scrutiny.
I hope that you will take heed of the intensity of the concerns of the residents and find an alternative
location for the development.
