Hi,
I'm a Newport Beach resident residing in the Port Streets. I wanted to reach out regarding my opposition to the Ford Road Development. Ford Road
already has a traffic problem. It would be irresponsible to put a tiny plot of condos/apartments on that land. It would infringe upon the space of those who
enjoy the park, and the shortage of parking at the residence I'm sure will infringe upon the parking at the park (which is already crazy during
weekends). But a major concern is of children and adults and dogs who use the bike path and walk on that side walk. Trucks backing up (either direction)
on a relatively busy pedestrian road is never a good idea (especially one frequented by teens on their way to high school - they don't always make the best
choices and often assume they have a right away).
Please consider the opportunity to expand the park.
