Subject: Opposed to proposed condos/apartments at 4302 Ford Road
Dear Mr. Zdeba,
I’m opposed to the proposed building project at the corner of Bonita
Canyon & MacArthur.
1) The proposed building adds too many units on too small a parcel of
land.
2) Building a multi-story, multi-tenant apartment or condo building next
to a neighborhood of multimillion dollar single-family homes is not a
good fit for the neighborhood. It’s very out of place.
3) This project will bring additional daily traffic and parking congestion
to an area that is already impacted in the mornings,
afternoons/evenings and on weekends.
4) The builder of these apartments/condos alleges that Portstreets
residents want this project in part because they don’t like underutilized
space. This is not true. All of the neighbors in our portstreets e-mail
group are very opposed to this project.
5) It is unreasonable to allow one building/builder to negatively affect a
whole neighborhood.
Please do not allow this project to be approved/built.
