Dear Mr. Zdeba,
I have recently become aware of the multi unit project being considered on Ford Road near the
park. I want to let you know that I am opposed to this project. As a citizen of Newport Beach
for 13 years I have become increasingly aware of the increased traffic in our city. I am currently
living in "the Port Streets". My son plays soccer at the park and my girls ride their bikes to play
tennis at the tennis courts on Ford Road. I am very, very concerned about the increased traffic in
the area if you were to allow this proposed condo/apartment complex to go through. It is already
a dangerous area for our children and I think that if you allow this to go through it will show the
priority of money over the safety of our children.
I will continue to speak out on this proposal and will encourage my friends to do the same. I
encourage you to put the safety of our residents at the top of your list. This proposal is only
lining the pockets of developers and does nothing to enhance the value of our amazing city.
